These four ideas will make your interior feel more open and lighter. They can be used individually or in conjunction with one another:
• Add several sources of light to each space. All rooms benefit from a combination of lighting: a glowing hanging fixture, uplighting such as a torchiere, and table lamps or tasks lights. Dimmer switches add the ability to adjust the light levels from bright and cheerful to dark and moody.
